On its northern side, Montardo presides over the landscape and frames the village.

Finally, Escunhau, annexed to Vielha, is especially known for its stone houses and its historic centre, where Ço de Perejoan stands out — the oldest house in Val d’Aran, declared a Cultural Heritage Site.
