Nature and lakes

Tredòs is surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery in the Pyrenees. An 8 km walk upstream along the Aiguamòg river leads to the start of the Colomèrs Cirque, a cluster of glacial lakes inside Aigüestortes National Park. Lake Saboredo, Lake Mar and the surrounding peaks rise above 2,800 metres.

Heritage

The church of Santa María del Cap d'Aran (12th century) is a gem of Aranese Romanesque architecture, with a bell gable and interior frescoes. It forms part of the Aran Valley Romanesque route. The church of San Esteban and the chapel of the Virgen del Rosario are also worth a visit.
